No. 1 Nebraska volleyball punched its ticket to the Sweet 16 with a 3-0 win over Kansas State at the Devaney Center on Saturday night.
Andi Jackson led Nebraska’s attack with 10 kills on .533 hitting, but it was the defense that shined brightest with both libero Laney Choboy and defensive specialist Olivia Mauch recording double-digit digs.
After playing in front of 8,601 fans on Saturday, the Huskers will return to the Devaney Center on Fridy to host the regional semifinals. Second-seeded Louisville will take on No. 3 Texas A&M in the first match, with the Huskers and No. 4 Kansas to follow.
