No. 1 Nebraska volleyball swept Penn State in dominant fashion Friday night, beating the Nittany Lions 25-14, 25-11, 25-14 on Blackout at the Bob night.
With the win, the Huskers have swept Penn State twice in the same season for the first time ever, with the Nittany Lions failing to reach 15 points in any set. Harper Murray led the way with 11 kills on .476 hitting as Nebraska out-hit Penn State .385 to .011.
The Huskers held the Big Ten’s kills leader, Kennedy Martin, to 11 kills on a season-low .094 hitting to improve to 29-0 (19-0 Big Ten) ahead of Saturday’s regular season finale against Ohio State.
