About Jed Burks
Jed is college football junkie and a regular call-in contributor on local sports talk radio since before there was a full-time dedicated sports station in Omaha. In doing that, he has gained lots of friends, but just as many enemies. He’s been going to Husker games since the mid 1980’s with his grandparents, who have had season tickets since the north endzone seating opened. He’s been known to wear some weird outfits to the games, with his current outfit being a full red and white checkered Husker suit. He believes that sports and sports talk should be fun and that’s what he tries to bring to Memorial Stadium and to Big Red Junkies.
