Born and raised in Omaha, Jacob has been writing about local sports in Nebraska since he joined Creighton's student newspaper as a freshman in 2011. He's covered prep sports as well as Creighton and Nebraska athletics (including football, basketball and volleyball) for Hail Varsity and Hurrdat Sports since 2015.
