Born and raised in Omaha, Jacob has been writing about local sports in Nebraska since he joined Creighton's student newspaper as a freshman in 2011. He's covered prep sports as well as Creighton and Nebraska athletics (including football, basketball and volleyball) for Hail Varsity and Hurrdat Sports since 2015.
His love of basketball can best be described as an obsession and if you need to find him, he’s probably in a gym somewhere watching, coaching or playing hoops.
