Creighton basketball’s Morgan Maly was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week following her standout performances over the past week. In Wednesday’s win over Marquette Maly scored a team-high 28 points, going 10-of-11 from the field and 8-of-9 from behind the arc. Saturday against Seton Hall, Maly picked up where she left off, going for 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting including 4-of-8 from 3.
She averaged 25.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals while shooting 66.7% from the field and 70.6% from 3-point range.
The Bluejays will be back in action against DePaul this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at D.J. Sokol Arena.
