Minnesota St took the early lead at the 20-second mark, not to score again until the third period. Omaha tied it up in the first period with a goal from Marcus Nguyen.
Second period, Omaha scored two more times with Spencer Sova and Sean Tschigerl.
In the third period, Omaha’s Marc Lajoie scored on a power play early on. Aidan Gorgendiere and Jacob Slipec each scored to finish off the match.
