The 2026 Gravel Worlds bike race took place this weekend, on Saturday, Aug. 22, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Professionals and amateurs from all 50 states and 20 countries came to participate in the 17th annual Gravel Worlds.
Torbjorn Roed (NOR), the Norwegian National Champion, took the win in a sprint against Keegan Swenson (USA) and Julien Gagne (CAN) in the men’s professional race for a time of 6:05:22, the average speed being 24.2 mph. The three broke away from the 56-rider field in the final stretch of the 150-mile race that raced. Last weekend, Swensen won Leadville 100.
Geerike Schreurs (NED) won by as much as 1 second over Rosa Klöser (GER) in a photo finish with a time of 7:19:37, making that a 20.3 mph average. The two had broken away late in the race. Schreur placed second at Unbound Gravel Race this year. Klöser had raced in the Tour de France Femmes last month.
