Thursday was the first day of the contact period for the class of 2025. What that means is Division I coaches can make direct contact with prospects in the 2025 recruiting class per NCAA rules.
NCAA rules permit college basketball coaches to make unlimited calls and text to recruits on June 15 after their sophomore year. That means calls, texts and direct messages on social media for the first time in many of the prospects lives.
A number of prospects will be participating in the D1 Midwest Basketball Showcase in Kansas City (June 17-18).
Here is a list of local names that were contacted by schools.
