Nebraska comes out hot against Kansas State with three runs in the first inning. In the third inning, both Nebraska and Kansas State scored a run. By the sixth inning, Kansas State scored five more runs with a home run in each inning, making it 6-4 Kansas State.
In the seventh inning, Nebraska tied it up with Mac Moyer bringing Drew Grego, and Jeter Worthley bringing in Moyer.
The eighth, Nebraska shut down Kansas State with a double-play.
The ninth inning pitcher J’shawn Unger has some help with catcher Jeter Worthley throwing out Kansas State’s Nick English out trying to steal third base.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, Nebraska’s Josh Overbeek doubled. Rhett Stokes singled sending Overbeek home for the walk-off win.
