Nebraska dominated Washington in a straight-set sweep (25-14, 25-18, 25-16) at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on October 10, 2025. The Huskers were efficient offensively, posting a .307 hitting percentage with 48 kills compared to Washington’s .147. Harper Murray led Nebraska with 12 kills and a .407 hitting percentage, while Andi Jackson added 10 kills on .562 hitting and contributed to the team’s strong blocking effort, which totaled 10 team blocks. Setter Bergen Reilly efficiently distributed the offense with 34 assists, and defensive specialist Olivia Mauch tallied 12 digs to anchor the back row. Nebraska maintained high side-out efficiency across all three sets, including an 80% rate in the opening frame.

Washington struggled to find consistency against Nebraska’s balanced attack and tough defense. Simona Mateska led the Huskies with eight kills but hit just .269, while Kierstyn Barton contributed nine kills on .026 hitting. Setter Alexis Haury provided 27 assists, but Washington’s offense couldn’t overcome Nebraska’s blocking and serve pressure, totaling 16 attack errors and five service errors. The Huskers’ complete performance extended their unbeaten record to 15-0 (5-0 Big Ten), while Washington fell to 7-8 (2-3).
