About Joba Chamberlain
Following a standout career as a pitcher at the University of Nebraska, Joba Chamberlain was drafted by the New York Yankees with the 41st pick of the MLB Draft. He went on to play nine seasons in the MLB, playing with the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and Cleveland Indians. Chamberlain won a World Series with the New York Yankees in 2009, in which he was credited as the winning pitcher in a crucial Game 4 where the Yankees took a 3-1 series lead over the Phillies.
