A native of Columbus, NE, the earliest memories Honke (aka Matt Honke) has of following Husker football is the 1983 Scoring Explosion season. Since then, he has spent countless hours memorizing such important Husker factoids like how many yards NU rushed for against Kansas in 1988 and who was the 2nd string fullback in 1996? He lives his life by the motto that it’s better to have useless knowledge than to know nothing at all.
