About Nick Bahe
Nick played two seasons for Bill Self at the University of Kansas before transferring to finish his career playing for Dana Altman at Creighton University. Nick started every game as a senior and was team captain for Creighton. Nick participated in three NCAA tournaments and a NIT during his career.
In High School, Nick was a two-time All-State selection and the 2003 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Nebraska, leading his team to back-to-back State Championship games. Nick holds a Nebraska state record for consecutive free throws made sinking 58 in a row. Nick was also an All-State Quarterback and holds the state record for longest touchdown pass hooking up with Kansas City Royals Outfielder Alex Gordon for 99 yards. Nick, a sports talk radio veteran of ten years, spent the last six years hosting his own radio show “Game Time with Nick Bahe” on 1620 The Zone in Omaha. Nick’s unique style of radio earned him Radio Inc’s “Top 30 Local Sports Talk Show Host” award four times (2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018), as well as the Nebraska Sportscaster of the Year in 2016.
Nick is currently a College Basketball Analyst for Fox Sports 1 and has been in that role for the past 6 years calling games and doing studio work. Nick has also called games for the Big Ten Network and CBS Sports Network during that time as well. Nick has also been the radio color voice for the Creighton men’s basketball team since 2009. Nick currently resides in Lincoln with his wife Kim, daughter Maeva, and son Mack.
