Omaha Sports Academy hosted the annual River Cities Hoops Summer Tipoff over the weekend with more than 300 teams taking part in various divisions and age groups.
In part one of our recap, I highlighted the Platinum Showcase games featuring ETG Midwest 3SSB and the 17U divisions.
Part two features the results and standouts from the 16U and 15U divisions.
16U Bluejays Division
Nebraska Supreme PRO16 finished as tournament runner-up with a 3-1 record. Supreme opened the weekend with a 59-39 win against Nebraska Hoops Elite Black behind 14 points on 100% shooting from Auburn wing Nixon Ligouri. Supreme beat Kingdom Hoops Navy 78-59 win go 2-0 in pool play and advance to the semifinals where they beat Lincoln Supreme National 1 64-45. Norris guard Barret Boesiger scored 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting with seven rebounds.
Supreme battled All Iowa Attack Elite Red to a 19-all tie at halftime but couldn’t maintain pace in the second half as Attack pulled away for a 58-48 win to claim the tournament title. Boesiger scored all 20 of his team-high points in the second half, finishing 7-of-13 from the field including 6-of-11 from deep. Ralston forward Deacon Courtney added 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting and 1-of-2 free-throw shooting plus two blocks.
Lincoln Supreme National 1 claimed third place, finishing 2-0 in pool play with wins over Norfolk D-League (61-37) and All Iowa Elite Black (71-66). Lincoln Pius X guard Parker Kelly led the team with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting (2-of-2 from 3) in the semifinal loss to Nebraska Supreme PRO16. Supreme bounced back with a 73-66 win over Kingdom Hoops Elite in the third-place game.
OSA Elite Brewer went 2-2 to claim fifth place. The Crusaders fell 61-56 to Kingdom Hoops Elite then beat SWI Elite 85-58 to go 1-1 in pool play. Elkhorn South forward Cooper Mroczek led the way with 20 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in the win while Freeman guard Mo Bryant was terrific as well with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting including 4-of-7 from deep. Omaha Creighton Prep guard Jett Smeal scored 12 points and shot 2-of-5 from 3 while Millard West guard Reece Carson added 11 points, six assists and four rebounds.
OSA beat Southwest Iowa Impact Gold 62-60 then fell to All Iowa Attack Elite Black in bracket play.
16U Cyclones Division
I focused mainly on the top divisions, but the single best performance I saw all weekend came from the second 16U division. Lincoln Supreme National 2 beat No Coast Elite 83-71 to finish 4-0 behind 31 points on 15-of-17 shooting (1-of-2 from 3), 14 rebounds (six offensive) four blocks and two steals from Lincoln Lutheran wing Jacob Duitsman.
A pair of 2026 Lincoln Northeast Rockets showed out for No Coast Elite in the loss. Grant Fredericks Foreman led the way with 25 points on 6-of-12 from the field (3-of-5 from 3) and 10-of-13 from the foul line. Easton Switzer added 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting including 5-of-11 from 3 and 1-of-2 from the line.
15U Bluejays Division

Nebraska Supreme PRO16 went 3-1 to finish as runner-up in the top division.
Supreme opened the weekend with a 68-50 win over an in-state team in TSA United. Millard North forward Owen Anderson led the way with 15 points while shooting 4-of-6 from deep. Ashland-Greenwood forward Derek Tonjes added 13 points on 6-of-6 shooting (1-of-1 from 3) and four boards. Ogallala wing Sawyer Smith put up 12 points on 100% shooting and 10 rebounds (four offensive). Scottsbluff point guard Nate Kelley chipped in 10 points, six rebounds and two steals while Gretna guard Treven Wilkins added 10 points, five yards and three assists.
Supreme routed Kingdom Hoops Navy 76-35 to go 2-0 in pool play. Kelley led the way with 18 points while shooting 4-of-5 from deep, grabbing five rebounds and dishing out four assists. Wilkins added 13 points while Smith notched another double-double with 12 points on 60of-8 shooting, 10 rebounds and four assists.
Supreme beat Kingdom Hoops Elite 82-62 in the semifinals behind 20 points from Anderson on 6-of-12 shooting (3-of-6 from 3) and 5-of-5 free-throw shooting. Kelley added 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting (3-of-4 from 3) and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line, seven rebounds and six assists. Smith added 12 points on 4-of-6 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Tonjes chipped in 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting and six rebounds.
The final against All Iowa Attack Elite Red went back and forth the whole way. Attack pulled ahead by six in the closing minutes, but Supreme rallied to within one as Kelley hit a 3 with less than two seconds to play. Supreme sent Attack to the line for the bonus with 1.0 on the clock and the shooter missed the front end. Tonjes grabbed the rebound and heaved it down court, but the ball bounced off the backboard just to the left of the rim as the buzzer sounded.
Kelley led the way with 17 points on 6-of-13 from the filed (2-of-5 from 3) and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line, six rebounds and five assists. Wilkins scored 13 points on 4-of-5 from the field (1-of-1 from 3) and 4-of-4 from the foul line. Smith nearly recorded another double-double as well with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Lincoln Supreme National 1 went 3-1 and claimed third place. Supreme opened the weekend with a 69-45 blowout of Southwest Iowa Impact Gold. Seward forward Trenton Hass led a balanced attack with 13 points on 5-of-9 from the field (1-of-1 from 3) and 2-of-3 from the line with six rebounds. Norris guard Macoy Folkerts scored 12 points on 4-of-5 from the filed (2-of-2 from 3) and 2-of-2 from the line.
Supreme beat All Iowa Attack Elite Black 55-48 to finish 2-0 in pool play but fell to All Iowa Attack Elite Red 64-39 in the semifinals. They bounced back in he third-place game, however, beating Kingdom Hoops Elite 75-66 behind 22 points from Lincoln Southwest guard Hudson Mezger. O’Neill St. Mary’s guard Gage Hedstrom scored 12 points on four 3-points and Hass chipped in 10 points.
I didn’t get a chance to see Fremont D-League, but the team went 3-1 to claim fifth place. D-League beat Nebraska Hoops Elite Black 47-44 before falling to All Iowa Attack Elite Red 67-32 to go 1-1 in pool play. Fremont beat James Valley Thunder Dolan 52-44 and TSA United 48-44 in bracket play.
